About the Job:
As the Supply Chain Coordinator in the Supply Chain department you will be responsible for:
Receiving and unpacking all shipments to the hospital.
Stocking, organizing and periodic cycle counting an electronically managed supply room, surgical prep area, treatment floor machines and pharmacy.
Working with the electronic inventory management system as well as staff to maintain and adjust min and max par levels based on current and forecasted use.
Seeking out discrepancies and adjusting them in the system as well as troubleshooting the root of the problem so that it may be addressed with staff.
Cycle counting, stocking and organizing janitorial supplies, breaks room supplies, office supplies, and all non-medical supplies used in the hospital.
Keeping the staff updated and aware of any backorders.
Preform tri weekly inventory counts and email them to the Sr. Buyer and inform of any item discrepancies.
Utilizing and maintaining an inventory control/purchase order system within a HIS system, receiving against it as well as finding/fixing discrepancies.
Communicates with other hospitals within Ethos and facilitates transfers of goods between them.
Assist with annual to semi-annual full physical inventory counts for North County and Sorrento Valley locations, including data entry.
Point person for equipment needing repair, working closely with our maintenance team to have equipment repaired and returned in a timely manner.
Ability to work in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community is required.
Detail oriented with good organizational, communication and time management skills
Must have the ability to physically move materials weighing up to 60 pounds on a regular basis and the ability to move larger, heavier items on occasion.
Experience with Inventory Management Systems ( ERP/ MRP) and/ or Hospital Information Systems
Minimum of three years prior procurement/ inventory experience required, veterinary or hospital experience preferred.
