We are working with a growing placement agent and secondaries advisor. Last year they intermediated over €5bn of secondary transactions and are typically raising between three and five funds on a global basis. They have a strong track record fundraising for established names in the mid-market buy-out and growth space.
They differentiate themselves by developing particularly strong and deep relationships with both GPs and LPs during the placement process, which in turn leads to repeat and exclusive custom. Because of the boutique nature of the firm, they are also able to offer a dedicated and comprehensive service to their clients, which is tremendously valuable. As a firm, they are collegiate, honest, results-driven and take a long term view.
They are looking for an Associate or Senior Associate to work on both fundraising strategy and the distribution side. This is a great platform for you to develop your project management and sales skills.
Content support on PPMs, track-record information, production of bespoke pitch documents and presentations
Ad-hoc creation of materials and analyses in response to specific investor requests
Project management of fundraisers and participation in investor meetings as well as initial outreach
Assisting seniors with GP due diligence efforts, both quantitative and qualitative analysis and GP relationship management
Background in private markets fundraising, either from within a placement agent or an investment firm
Strong intellect, analytically-minded - able to manipulate data and produce sound analysis
Good interpersonal skills – versatile style; good listener; patient
Robust organisational and project management skills
Excellent English language skills – fluency in German would be an advantage
