The Department of Computer Information Systems and Supply Chain Management at Appalachian State University invites applications for a tenure-track nine-month faculty appointment in Computer Information Systems at all ranks, beginning Fall Semester 2019, subject to funding. Candidates should possess an earned doctorate in Computer Information Systems. Other closely related fields and ABDs will be considered. Instructional duties will include teaching courses in or related to computer networks, operating systems, systems development, database management, and programming.
Faculty members are expected to maintain an active program of scholarship as well as participate in service activities.
