We’re seeking a Business Development Manager who will lead and develop a strong outbound orientated business development team to drive exceptional prospect and lead generation growth and achieve our revenue goals. You will oversee and lead our business development representatives with respect to goals, activities, performance, sales skills and techniques with a focus on building a strong sales pipeline.
Our Business Development team is responsible for generating new business through targeted research, prospecting and qualification. As the team leader, you will guide positioning, production and pipeline development to promote our product suite and provide strategic, tactical value to customers.
What will you do?
Train, mentor, coach, and supervise a team of business development representatives focused on value-based selling leveraging cold calls, email and social selling methodology
Work closely with marketing and sales leadership to ensure representatives are provided qualified leads to achieve sales targets
Responsible for accelerating sales growth and KPI’s through robust lead generation and targeted pipeline approach
Drive key performance metrics to achieve company revenue goals

Are you a fit?
3-5 years of experience in business development and/or sales for B2B software/SaaS solutions
Previous experience leading high-performing business development teams with a history of over achievement
Demonstrated experience delivering on lead gen targets
History of hiring, onboarding, and developing A+ talent
Player/coach with proven ability to measure and drive performance as well as provide real-time coaching and create actionable development plans
Effective communicator with the ability to articulate a clear vision and value proposition to potential customers, partners, and sales team
Strong leadership presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate sales performance to leadership
High energy, driven, and confident with the ability to establish instant credibility and rapport with stakeholders, customers, and your team
Open, engaging, action-oriented leader who inspires and holds others accountable, listens well, and has a high EQ
Experience working with SalesLoft or alternative sales automation platform
Strong LinkedIn presence
Proficiency in Excel
Experience working in a PE-backed environment
Experience with acquisition integrations
