The Launch Fulfillment team within Planning & Launch translates business strategy into Product, Program and Pricing data published on Price Lists and used throughout Microsoft to ensure all products and offers are buildable, billable, and orderable for customers and partners worldwide.
The Launch Fulfillment team is looking for an experienced Operations Program Manager to lead execution and transformation of Product, Offer and Pricing deliverables supporting Microsoft’s Consumer business.
The ideal candidate is an effective collaborator who enjoys partnering with project teams to drive business value through new product offerings. You must be able to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously and propose tradeoffs to stakeholders to ensure appropriate launch priority given available capacity.

Partner Business Management:
In this position, you will lead a team of program managers responsible for defining, creating and managing end-to-end business validation/testing plans to ensure that business goals are met and disruption to the business is minimized during implementation of new capabilities and/or system releases. This includes leveraging a standardized test project management approach while enhancing and modifying artifacts and processes as necessary to meet the needs of the launch. You will work with project leaders to define business scenarios and determine acceptance criteria that will validate the business goals of the project(s). You will coordinate and mobilize diverse teams of business process owners and operational testers to execute testing scenarios. You will be responsible for maintaining timelines, mitigating risks and meeting compliance requirements while enabling system environments and removing testing blockers. You will be a key participant in successfully launching projects with the highest priorities of the company.

The Partner Business Manager should demonstrate experience in working effectively in cross-functional international teams (often virtual) comprised of full time employees. You should also possess organizational skills and positively influence others.
The Partner Business Manager role indirectly ensures that the result of work will reflect in a superior experience for Microsoft customers by receiving a consistent and high-quality support in the moment of the sales deal construction through MS partners.
Sales Channel Go To Market (GTM) Planning:

This role is for a Planner on the Inside Sales GTM team.
The Commercial Planning function sits on the Planning and Launch team within Business Operations and is responsible for the management and prioritization of investments and projects across the portfolio ensuring alignment to GTM strategies and priorities. Each GTM has one Portfolio Planner who plays a breadth role and several Portfolio PMs who play a depth role. We drive commercial Launch for the company and we take landing change seriously, but we have fun doing it!

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, IT or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required.
4-5 years' minimum experience in Operations, Sales, Business, Program Management, or Project Management
Strong capacity for leading change, dealing with ambiguity and providing creative solutions.
Able to work effectively with all levels of internal and external personnel to drive for results and solve problems.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Must be able to relate and communicate effectively at different levels, across different cultures.
Ability to identify and implement industry best practices to improve existing processes; demonstrable achievement within a results-driven, highly ambiguous and dynamic environment.
Demonstrated excellence in thought leadership and execution management; conflict/negotiation management; independent, flexible and proactive in your approach.
Launch management experience delivering results through cross-team collaboration. Excellent cross-group collaboration skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects, work effectively in a rapidly changing environment and meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines.
Excellent analytical skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems that may not have one clear answer.
Action oriented with the ability to react with appropriate urgency to escalations and situations that require a quick response.
