Tower Health, based in West Reading, Pennsylvania, seeks a dynamic, distinguished executive to serve as its next Vice President, Total Rewards (VP).
In October 2017, Reading Hospital acquired five additional hospitals creating Tower Health, a vibrant, nationally recognized health system that serves a population of 2.5 million people. Subsequently, Tower Health has been undergoing infrastructure transformation integrating various services such as finance, human resources, supply chain, marketing and information services. With 11,000 team members, a comprehensive provider network of 2,000 physicians, and a combined 1,500 beds, Tower Health provides a full range of medical care – from prevention, screenings, and education; to the latest clinical services and surgeries available; to rehabilitation.
Reporting to and working closely with the Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), the focus will be to improve upon solid programs already established. The hospital acquisitions resulted in multiple HRIS systems that will need to be consolidated into one standard, and this individual will be a key contributor in making the final decision as to whether to go to market to identify a new vendor or retain an existing system and migrate the hospitals to a single platform.
The CHRO will be looking to the VP to help him advance the use of analytics, particularly predictive analytics. This new leader will also coordinate the work to integrate the compensation structures of the five acquired hospitals into a Tower compensation structure (including associated end user training in the affiliate human resources departments).
