The Senior Manager of Global Program Management will be based in Buffalo Grove, IL . The objective of the role will be to ensure there is a common interface to the Customer and between the multiple sites; focuses on tactical execution that affects the strategic relationship between Flex, Flex NPI team and the Customer; continues to monitor and reduce program risk, while maximizing program profitability. Provide site interaction, site ramp support pre-launch, participate in lesson learned reviews, monitor, and report ramp progress.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
Ensure alignment of defined strategies between the Flex manufacturing sites.
Monitoring of key milestones ensuring adherence to identified timelines and deliverables of key objectives for specific activities.
Ensure commonality between each of the manufacturing sites.
Ensure compliance reviews to GMP standards for Medical Manufacturing
Part of escalation process.
Manage customer relationship on a Global basis and is the Customer single point of Contact, Globally for all product programs and operational performance issues escalated beyond site Management.
Facilitate internal communication between Flex vertical partners.
Facilitate external communication between customer and Flex Sites.
Ensure Customer’s expectations are clearly communicated and are being met within Flex.
Act as the leader and sponsor for Global customer FPLC projects and has sign off responsibility at the phase gate reviews
Coordinate / manage Global Customer business reviews on a quarterly basis
Input into Customer Contract development and ensures Contract requirements are adhered to by both operations and customers.
Co-ordinate full or part system programs, between different Flex organizations (e.g. PCB, Enclosures, B/P, Plastics, Design & Test etc.) and functions (e.g. Supply chain, Manufacturing, Design, Quality etc.).
Identify additional opportunities within a division/segment or account and support the integrated sales proposal.
Ensure cost reduction plans are in place to meet customer targets.
Establish and manage Business Resumption plans for all customer commodities.
Conduct operational reviews to ensure Flex and Customer requirements are at the required levels.
Input into future Flex operational and manufacturing strategies to support customer business strategies.
Ensure Use and Sharing of best practices and Standardization of Flex and Customer processes and procedures.
Establish performance measurements for Global PM Organization to maximize profit and reduce liability (CSMP, KOI, P&L etc.).
Conducts CSMP with Customer Senior management.
Ensure CSMP schedule is adhered to and improvement actions are implemented and communicated to the customer.
Facilitating solutions for Flex and the customer.
Setting and resetting customer expectations.
Here is some of what you’ll need (required):
8-10 years relevant program management experience
Minimum of 4-8 years medical device manufacturing experience
Experience managing multiple projects
Global PM experience required with experience in high product revenue and high visibility areas
MS Projects and Excel proficiency required
Here are a few of our preferred experiences:
Experience in Automation or Tooling
Degree in relevant field strongly preferred
Program management certifications a plus: PMI
OEM Project Management Preferred
Lean/Six Sigma certifications
Flex Flow and Baan experience a plus
Experience with Fortune 500 customers
Travel may increase to up to 30-50%
