We are seeking applicants for a Manager IT - Infrastructure. This person will provide a sound and secure information technology environment that supports Wabash Valley Power's business and technical requirements, including Local and Wide-area networking hardware and connectivity, server hardware/software, E-mail, backup solutions, security, cloud computing and policies and procedures development.
What You'll Do
You will both lead and direct the planning, development, implementation, security and management of the infrastructure technology, as well as:
• Develop and implement sound policies and procedures to ensure quality and security. • Plan and manage all server, LAN/WAN, Operating System, and networking/computer security for all corporate and field systems. • Supervise technical employees by fulfilling responsibilities including, planning, scheduling, delegating, appraising, coaching, counseling, and teaching. Also, hands-on in implementing and researching technology solutions. • Hands-on in researching, implementing and supporting technology solutions. • Manage infrastructure projects to ensure participation by affected stakeholders, identify risks and communicate those risks, and complete projects on time within the assigned budgets. • Assist the Vice-President of Technical Services with corporate and strategic planning.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Technology or related field. Masters level degree a plus. • 10 years of progressive experience in computer technology. • 3-5 years of supervisory or team leadership experience required. • Cisco CCNP or Microsoft MCSE required. • 5 years + designing, implementing and supporting complex technology environments preferred. • Experience developing and communicating technology security related policies and procedures. • Experience working in a highly regulated industry required. • Project Management (PMP) certification highly desired. • Experience in the electric utility industry highly desired.
