Responsible for developing, implementing and administering a system-wide supply chain management program to assure the supply, equipment, and services needs of patients and user departments are met, while creating value through cost savings and streamlining operational efficiencies.
Responsible for attaining goods and services consistent with desired quality, quantity, and delivery requirements, to ensure timely, efficient customer-oriented services while employing state of the art supply chain purchasing methods and technologies. This program will include purchasing, contracting, asset disposable, system integrity, supply & distribution, clinical outcomes activities, day-to-day mail room functions, and material management information system (MMIS) integrity for the Saint Francis Health System.
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Certification in the purchasing field is preferred.
Work Experience: 10 years in progressive leadership roles in healthcare purchasing, procurement and materials management with electronic MMIS experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Computerized material management information system knowledge. Excellent oral/written communicator. Strong leadership skills which include team building.
