Where the Chemistry Happens.......
The Operations Manager is responsible for the Safety, Quality, and Productivity of all operations in the Wyandotte Dispersions & Resins Plant. This Operations Manager role is based in the Wyandotte Resins & Dispersions (WYDR) unit of the Wyandotte, Michigan site. This leadership role directly manages seven employees and indirectly leads an organization of more than 65 team members. Performance responsibilities are aligned to EHS, supply reliability, and budgetary metrics with strengths in leadership and continuous improvement being critical success factors.
The Ops Manager plays a key role in engaging and managing stakeholders as well as collaborating with other BASF partners in EHS, Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, Technology, R&D, and Controlling. WYDR is regulated by the OSHA PSM standard which is indicative of a high hazard site.
Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
