Children’s Hospital has an opening for a Manager in the Supply Chain division that supports Invasive Services (OR, SurgiCenter, Cath Lab and IR). This division of Supply Chain is responsible for the requisitioning, distribution and control of supplies all the way to the point of use. The manager has approximately 10 direct reports including 3 Supply Chain Consultants, and manages support teams deployed throughout the operative units 24/7.
The focus of the position over the next 12-18 months will be “getting back to inventory management basics”, with an in-depth review of current practices, identification and execution of process improvement projects, and thorough documentation of policies and procedures. Success will be measured in part by inventory control metrics and customer satisfaction scores.
Additionally, this leader will have the opportunity to participate in the creation of workflows to support supplying our future operative spaces, as we are in the planning stages of a complete surgical platform renovation. This is an excellent opportunity to help create an environment that supports Supply Chain best practice and deliver value to the clinical teams.
Given the pace of change at CHW, we are looking for someone who has a Supply Chain background, with OR/invasive services experience preferred. Please come prepared to share stories of your process improvement successes!
