Responsible for fundamental operational, engineering and/or sourcing activities of packaging projects.
Responsible for deploying manufacturing know-how to successfully support the execution of projects to the business that deliver a sustained technical competitive advantage.
Demonstrate troubleshooting skills through use of continuous improvement techniques (i.e., Lean, TPM, Kaizen, or Six Sigma).
Provide key technical support in procurement, processing and/or development for new products/packaging.
Support business commitments of project scope, time, and budget.
Provide input into the project development process including technical feasibility, innovative ideas that provide a sustained technical competitive advantage, and technical information required for project design.
Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Packaging, Science or other technical discipline required; advanced degree preferred
2+ years of work and/or internship experience in engineering, packaging or process/product development environments, food quality/safety, or CPG manufacturing preferred
US Consumer Packaged Goods experience within the Supply, Packaging or Engineering function preferred
Understanding of operational CI principals and knowledge of engineering disciplines: Process, Packaging, or Manufacturing are considered a plus
