The Associate Production Supervisor will be based in Buffalo Grove, IL. In this position, you will be responsible for directing the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality and cost goals. You will be working from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM (night shift).

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
Lead a team comprising individual professional (e.g. operators, material handlers, technicians) to meet quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness requirements.
Reviews daily plant operating performance and uses a Continuous Improvement focus to identify and recommend changes in operating conditions that will improve safety/efficiencies/quality.
Troubleshoots/analyses operational problems and advises on their resolution. Holds regular discussions with operators to coach performance and improve operational understanding/capability.
Receives and evaluates ideas for plant improvements and works with qualified engineers to develop project proposals.
Provides technical/operational advice to project teams.
Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply in order to meet customer requirements.
Initiates and participates in process development and cost improvement projects.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
Here is some of what you’ll need (required):
Supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment.
Experience working with contingent workers.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Experience with MRP Systems/Inventory Systems.
From 2 to 3 years of experience.
Here are a few of our preferred experiences:
Experience in a cleanroom environment.
Experience with high-volume manufacturing and/or medical manufacturing.
Familiar with FDA-regulated products.
