PGY1 Year (Austin, TX)
The PGY1 portion of this combined residency program provides an in-depth clinical experience at Ascension Texas / Seton Healthcare Family, which consists of a 13-hospital network throughout central Texas. The health-system includes a large academic medical center, a children’s hospital, and number of community and critical access sites. Clinical training is tailored to the resident’s background and special interests. The resident will be a preceptor for the pharmacy clerkship students and will be involved in teaching activities through the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy.
PGY2 Year (St. Louis, MO)
The PGY2 portion of the combined program provides opportunities for the resident to be immersed in an extensive and professionally diverse network in St. Louis, MO. Ascension St. Louis / The Resource Group offers a unique corporate setting for the resident to grow and freely exchange ideas for best practices to benefit every patient at every facility. The resident will be working with hundreds of professionals nationwide and maximizing their post-residency career opportunities in the process. “Procurement to patient” will provide the resident with a multitude of opportunities to experience various aspects of pharmacy administration and supply chain processes.
