The new faculty member is expected to teach undergraduate, and graduate level courses in Operations and Supply Chain Management. Depending on the staffing requirements across all OSCM faculty, the selected candidate may teach undergraduate OSCM courses, online graduate courses in MS-SCM, or a mix of both. Teaching at the graduate level will require development of online content.
The instructor is expected to provide service to the OSCM program in terms of student advising, curriculum revision, and engagement with the industry through the Center of Supply Chain Management.
There are no research expectations from this position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Instructor of Practice will teach 24 credits in the OSCM undergraduate and graduate programs. Specifically, the instructor may:
Provide service related to OSCM curriculum as necessary.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Teaching experience in the relevant area at the university level or professional training experience preferred. Candidates with industry experience in supply chain management functions are particularly desirable. The OSCM major prepare students through real-world experience and applied learning opportunities. An ideal candidate for this position would be expected to continue to support and enhance this emphasis.
