The Manager Financial Analysis develops, and administers Scott & White's financial, accounting policy. Prepares financial statements for internal/external consolidated purposes. Plans, organizes, and supervises the operations of the Finance Division including accounting services, payroll administration, R&E fiscal, tax and asset management. The essential functions of the Manager Financial Analysis include the following:
Manages operations to ensure development, implementation and administration of financial policies and practices.
Ensures that services are provided in a timely, accurate, effective, and cost-efficient manner and in compliance with established policies, procedures and practices.
Effectively implements department personnel policies and procedures in conjunction with selection, orientation, training, assignment and staffing, evaluation, discipline, and discharging employees in compliance with applicable employment regulations.
Establishes a climate that reduces obstacles and slows and promotes staff to formulate and practice own initiatives and perform at maximum achievement level.
Identifies and provides opportunities for the staff to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to contribute to the success of the department.
Trains and cross trains personnel to increase productivity and improve area operations.
Prepares, administers and monitors budget to maintain financial viability.
Prepares and recommends effective budgets to cover the projected costs of staffing, equipment and supplies needed to maintain effective operations.
Ensures complete, accurate and timely tax reporting and financial reporting to maintain records and ensure compliance with federal and state requirement.
Acts as liaison for regulatory and/or auditors to ensure the successful completion of periodic audits.
Coordinates year-end audit activities between Accounting and other departments.
Oversees preparation of lead schedules and PBC's to help facilitate auditor's performance.
Collects necessary supporting statistical information to facilitate monthly journal entries.
Monitors contract volumes and analyzes profitability against expected levels of performance and initiates operation and/or contract modifications as appropriate.
Triages multi-faceted issues related to contract operational performance, interpretation and payor obligations between BSW and Managed Care Organization.
Promotes accountability of all parties, communicates and coordinates process initiatives between all stakeholders.
Ensures accuracy of managed care contract rates and language being loaded and accurately maintained in Managed Care Organization databases and claims payment systems by process implementation and ongoing audit procedures.
Represents BSW in dispute resolution venues such as meetings with payors and/or legal counsel, negotiations with payors and mediations; testifies under oath as a Corporate Representative or fact witness in depositions, hearings and trials.
The ideal Manager Financial Analysis will have strong leadership, management, analytical and communication abilities.

Bachelor's degree required
