We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst in the Atlanta, GA or Washington, DC offices at Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP. We are searching for someone who wants to be a valued contributor and member of a talented and dynamic team of lawyers, paralegals, and staff.
The Solution Specialist is responsible for implementing solutions, to include identifying, designing, testing, configuring, documenting, and deploying systems that enable our user community to provide superior legal and professional services. The requirements for the solutions will be defined by the business. The Solution Specialist will work closely with other members of the Legal Technology team and stakeholders to execute key initiatives by evaluating our current portfolio of technology and those available in the marketplace to devise, document and implement innovative solutions to solve challenging business opportunities, while adhering to TIS standards and the technology roadmap.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Collaborate with TIS, stakeholders, and business partners to design and implement innovative technology solutions.
Actively participate in requirement review and design meetings.
Review requirements for accuracy and completeness.
Draft functional design specifications based on requirements and incorporate client input/feedback.
Document test conditions, configurations, scripts, and scenarios and execute and document results.
Provide guidance on appropriate technology by identifying and evaluating software.
Use expertise and knowledge to build solutions with the technology on hand.
Support deployment readiness activities, including workplans, task lists and tracking action items.
Collaborate with and provides consistent and timely communications to stakeholders for solution implementations or updates.
Proactive identification of internal and external solution dependencies, highlighting issues, scope changes, and progress against project plan.
Maintain deep, detailed, in-depth knowledge and documentation of software functions, capabilities, and processes; serve as Solution SME for assigned solutions.
Perform configuration and development of systems/applications in support of stakeholders’ needs.
Identify, recommend, and implement process and system improvements to create efficiencies with measurable outcomes.
Maintain a strong focus on superior client service, be responsive to requests and develop/maintain productive working relationships with personnel.
Other tasks and projects as assigned by the Manager of Data Architecture & KM.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required; a degree in CS, CIS, MIS or equivalent is preferred.
Preferred certifications are a plus: Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
Seven to ten years of experience working in a technology department evaluating software and implementing innovative solutions in a similarly sized, multi-office professional services organization.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of internet, software, and database principles and standards. Detail-oriented, organized and have a strong ability to read, analyze, and transform business requirements into a solution design and or evaluating and implementing the appropriate software package to meet the business requirements. Ability to multi-task, manage time, and prioritize workloads is a must. Ability to present and document ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language.
Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Suite with proficiency in Outlook and MS Office 356 are required. Advanced knowledge of SharePoint/Excel/Word/PowerPoint is required.
Experience with HighQ, AI & Machine Learning, Power BI, Flow, Power Apps, Azure, and other SaaS applications is highly preferred.
