The Department of Finance in the College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University invites applications for the position of Teaching Assistant Professor in Finance and Assistant Department Chair beginning January 1, 2019. This is a non-tenure track position focusing on teaching courses in finance. This position will also have the appointment as the Assistant Department Chair of Finance. Duties will include teaching finance courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs in the College of Business and Economics in both face-to-face and online formats. The expected teaching load for this position will be 18 credits for the academic year. Teaching duties may include courses at the undergraduate or graduate level for resident and on-line programs.
This position will assist the Finance Department Chair in all activities related to the departmental leadership role and specific duties would be assigned based on the emerging needs of the Finance Department and the College of Business and Economics.
