Fixed Income Credit Division - Morgan Stanley trades all fixed-income assets with embedded credit in a variety of areas, from municipal securities, to investment-grade and high-yield bond and credit derivatives trading. In addition, Morgan Stanley structures, underwrites and trades the full range of collateralized securities, including those backed by residential and commercial mortgages, in both the cash and derivatives markets.
Our global sales function connects Morgan Stanley's resources with our institutional clients, such as banks, insurance companies, hedge funds, money managers, pension funds and mutual funds. About the Role
Morgan Stanley's Sales and Trading Fixed Income Analyst is treated as a top priority because we know it will produce the future generation of leaders fo r the Firm. Analysts have the opportunity to develop and master the analytical, quantitative and interpersonal skills they will need to succeed. The Division's flat organizational structure and open trading floor allow Analysts opportunities to collaborate with more experienced colleagues and learn from senior Sales and Trading professionals. This fast-paced and intense environment requires an aptitude for analyzing and interpreting often complex information in a timely manner. Analysts must be highly focused and goal-oriented. They must also have a compelling interest in the financial markets, and possess excellent written and oral communication
Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, supporting the team's diverse client base across flow and structured products. Candidate should be detailed and meticulous, being responsible for several day to day activities which involve working extensively with sales and trading across various geographies. Candidate would be required to develop a thorough understanding of Asia credit market, global credit products as well as the different clientele in the region. Candidate should be adaptive in this role, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as one would also be working with structuring and research desks.
