The Senior Program Coordinator will be reporting to the Director of Master of Supply Chain Analytics (MSCA) Program at the Rutgers Business School and works closely with the Director, Assistant Dean, and staff of the Office of Career Management at Rutgers Business School, the duties include but not limited to the following -Performs a wide range of career planning, including individual and group career counseling to students in the MSCA Program. -Administers and interprets career assessment instruments. -Designs and implements workshops that help MSCA students with their career management process. -Responsible for creating a curriculum and teaching the mandatory Career Management course that meets MSCA student needs. -Develops outreach activities to potential employers. -Enhances and establishes relationships with industry professionals and stakeholders to serve as mentors or as potential employers. -Connects between current students and former students, graduates and stakeholders. -Organizes stakeholder events, seminars, and career fairs for the MSCA program students and stakeholders. -Tracks and reports student success stories and career placement after graduation. Background in supply chain and experience in supply chain industry is preferred. -Must be able to have open office hours one evening per week. -Travel among regional campuses is required. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-Requires a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, counseling, human resources, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. -A minimum of two years' experience that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of career counseling theories and methodologies for individuals and groups. -Must have the appropriate qualifying education and/or experience to administer and interpret career assessment instruments. -Also requires excellent communication skills and computer literacy.
-Master's degree in business, supply chain, counseling or human resources is encouraged. -Background in supply chain and experience in the supply chain industry are preferred. -Proficient in the Simplicity program is a plus. Outstanding communication and organization skills are preferred.
-Utilizes Excel reporting features, Publisher for advertising and branding, Access to link reporting metrics and identifying trends. -Utilizes e-Recruiting database to track job postings and candidate applications. Proficient in the Simplicity program is a plus.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
-Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
-Must be able to have open office hours one evening per week and participate in evening and weekend MSCA-related events.
