Applications are currently being accepted for a Graduate Assistant position at Berry College for men’s and women’s golf. Located midway between Atlanta, Ga., and Chattanooga, Tenn., on a 26,000-acre campus just north of Rome, Ga., Berry is an independent, coeducational, liberal arts college with approximately 1,850 undergraduate and graduate students. The Graduate Assistant position will assist the Head Golf Coach with the duties associated with men’s and women’s intercollegiate golf programs. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assisting with practice and game preparation, NCAA compliance, public relations, student-work supervision, recruitment of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes, and a commitment to the student-athlete’s academic progress and degree completion. Berry College is currently associated with the NCAA Division III and a part of the Southern Athletic Association (SAA).
Collegiate playing and/or coach experience are preferred. This position provides a full graduate tuition waiver in business administration and an $8,000 stipend each year.
