As the Associate Director Transaction Banking Sales, Europe, you will mainly be responsible for delivering the strategic subject matter expertise for Payments and Cash Management (PCM) products and Trade and Supply Chain (TSC) solutions in Europe for the ANZ regions.
You will be responsible for marketing capabilities to both existing and target clients across Europe working closely with the Relationship Managers, Regional Sales teams across the network.
You will drive sales at Headquarter level working closely with Regional and Local sales as execution points contributing to RFI / RFP responses, and reviewing these documents providing feedback where appropriate.
You will be responsible for marketing ANZ's TB capabilities to the Global Treasury and will focus majority of your time building on the credibility of the bank at a strategic level with client decision makers and strategy setters for ultimate support to mandate ANZ as the Transaction Bank for the respective RFP / RFQ.
Key PCM product sets include Liquidity Management and Deposits, Swift FIN and Fileact, Fileactive, Cross Border Payments, IHB structures, Real Time Payments, and Omni-channel solutions. You will also need to understand Treasury technologies to provide a consultative sounding board for clients.
You will also be responsible for Trade and Supply Chain sales for a portfolio of Multinational Corporations (MNC) clients with a budget set. The role will deliver core trade, guarantee and Supply Chain Finance (SCF) solutions.
You will manage all deal opportunities within agreed product approval parameters for all new clients on boarding and deal opportunities.
You will mentor and guide those with limited PCM knowledge to improve their ability to deliver client solutions.
You will adopt a 'Risk first approach' and contribute to audit exercises and maintain existing high compliance standards.
About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following –
Determination to push deals to conclusions
Advanced knowledge of multinational corporate cash management structures
Deep understanding of Treasury technologies, Payments technology, and Trade technologies while maintaining an open and strategic mind set
Foundational Core Trade knowledge
Basic Supply Chain Finance (SCF) knowledge and experience
General understanding of Global Markets products
Strong collaborative approach to working across various geographies recognising various cultural differences and personalities
Able to work across various timezones
Extensive (min 5) years of proven experience in the selling of Payment and Cash Management products and PCM customer interface or the implementation of PCM solutions with MNC clients.
Min 2 years involvement in the successful implementation of new PCM mandates with MNC clients
