The Supply Chain Master Data Management professional creates and maintains a clean, accurate, and standardized item master to support timely and efficient supply chain operations. With general direction and latitude for initiative and judgement, SC Master Data Management will be responsible for the daily analysis of price files, price file uploads to ERP system and manages any new Item Adds and Item Conversions to the system. This position requires a level of experience and expertise with relational data management, data mining, and routine Item Master audit to ensure that master data is accurate and synchronized with strategic solution providers, trading partners, and providers of third party enrichment data. SC Master Data Management manages the analysis for Price Files and uploads files into the ERP system. SC Master Data Management provides research and analysis for all aspects of data elements in addition to identifying patterns of incomplete or incorrect data and identifying solutions for acquiring good data. SC Master Data Management will also have the following responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Audits Lawson Item Master Data for accuracy and initiates appropriate corrections and changes
Selects, recommend and applies appropriate analytic and statistical methodologies and techniques to execute against an analysis plan or research objectives
Provides regular data recommendations to stakeholders, identifying areas of improvement
Coordinates communication and appropriate actions with GPO, Distributors, and Vendors to ensure contracts are synchronized and no variances exist between Lawson and Supplier Systems
Trains others team members to serve as backup to process Price Files, Item Adds, and Item Conversions
Handles escalated issues from the Data Integrity Analyst I
Assists with Item Master Cleanup and Maintenance
Works with team and assists with correcting purchase order exceptions such as price, part number, and unit of measure
Provides assistance and input with the vendor consolidation process
The ideal SC Master Data Management professional holds a Bachelor's Degree combined with a minimum of 3 years of applicable, relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal SC Master Data Management candidate will possess working knowledge of Healthcare Supply Chain processes and will have the ability to effectively articulate data and metrics to stakeholders, business partners, and leadership. The ideal SC Master Data Management candidate will have a strong analytical background with the ability to analyze data and create queries and reports in various systems using SQL. The ideal SC Master Data Management candidate will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams while leading various projects. The ideal SC Master Data Management candidate will also have the following skills, knowledge, and experience, including but not limited to:
Super user ability with the Lawson ERP System and Lawson Add-ins
Expert-level skills with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access Database (ODBC)
Ability to quickly learn new software and applications
Strong analytical skills
Experience with catalog management and item master maintenance
Ability to create and review various metrics and improve on processes.
