As a member of the Compliance Business Partners team at Corporate Center, you will be key in delivering the Compliance mandate to Zurich's Group Functions, with particular focus on the digital/innovation businesses as well as information management, data protection/privacy and records retention. In order to assist Zurich in achieving its strategic goals, you will add value by supporting the digital/innovation businesses and other Group Functions in executing their respective mandates in a compliant manner; further embedding an effective compliance culture; advising the business on complex daily business activities; and independently providing assessment, monitoring and assurance of compliance risks.

As a Senior Compliance Manager Group Functions, your main responsibilities will involve:
Advising the respective businesses and functions at strategic and tactical levels on the management of compliance risks
Driving the development, evolution and execution of a proportionate Compliance approach for the fast evolving areas of digital & mobile insurance and innovation
Serving as subject matter expert in Compliance Business Partners for the areas of Information Management, Data Protection/Privacy and Records Retention, including developing, implementing/enhancing and maintaining an adequate compliance framework
Coordinating overall Compliance training & communication for the businesses and Group Functions in Corporate Center
Assisting in performing the annual Compliance Risk Assessment for the digital/innovation businesses and Group Functions
Assisting in developing a risk-based Compliance (monitoring) plan
Executing monitoring activities (post-implementation and risk-based), including reporting
Identifying, driving and managing special projects
Your Skills and Experience
As Senior Compliance Manager Group Functions-Focus on Digital/Innovation, your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
University degree, preferably a Masters degree, in business administration or legal discipline
5 to 7 years of relevant experience ideally in insurance / re-insurance and insuretech / fintech environments of a multinational organization
Extensive specialization in information management, data protection/privacy and records retention topics
Very good understanding of digital / mobile / insurtech and/or fintech areas
Very good knowledge of data protection regulation (GDPR) and financial services regulation
Good understanding of insurance industry and business activities
Ability to work effectively across different hierarchy levels in a global matrix organization
Strong experience in successfully structuring and managing projects
Highly self-driven, structured and analytical personality
Ability to think holistically and build sustainable relationships
Ability to manage ambiguity while communicating effectively at different hierarchical levels
Strong English and German written and spoken language skills (C1-C2) due to the allocation of the role at Corporate Center level and strong collaboration with the BU Switzerland.
