Scenic is hiring an Associate Level operations professional to join our wealth team. This newly-formed wealth division was created to complement our growing boutique investment bank. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in the financial services industry, particularly with investment strategy, financial planning, and wealth management. He or she will be primarily responsible for client servicing and operations, as well as assisting with and investment management and planning. He or she is a quick learner, a passionate self-starter, an empathetic people-person, and dedicated to client service. He or she is excited to work in an innovative wealth management boutique and in a collaborative small- team environment.
Manage client relationships from a servicing and operations perspective
Understand the nuances of each client’s needs and preferences and provide concierge-like client service
Work closely with custodian and external portfolio accounting teams to respond to requests and resolve issues
Act with a high degree of discretion around personal and financial information
Fully utilize CRM tools to ensure client profiles are complete and accurate
Manage relationships of broader wealth partners
Work closely with senior wealth partners to ensure all client information, goals and objectives are fully up-to-date from a broader partners perspective.
Work closely with accountants, trust and estate and tax planning professional to ensure clients wealth plan is properly managed
Develop tracking systems to ensure proper issue and activity resolution
Perform investment management and financial planning duties
Work closely with senior wealth partners to develop, implement, and update investment strategy, plans, and portfolios
Monitor performance of client portfolios against investment guidelines
Create quarterly and ad hoc performance reports for client meetings and reviews
Work closely with CIO and Head of Research to define and perform model management activities
Ensure financial planning and investment management processes are appropriately updated and maintained
Work closely with CIO and Head of Research to develop robust and scalable investment management processes
Work closely with CCO and office manager to ensure all files and financial documentation is properly generated and stored
Required Capabilities and Competencies:
Demonstrable knowledge of the wealth management and financial services industry, including UHNW individual clients.
Self-starter and capable multi-tasker, with an extraordinary work ethic.

Must be able to work full-time schedule, concentrate for long periods of time and communicate effectively with team members and travel as necessary to meet with clients
5-7 years relevant work experience BA degree or equivalent Relevant securities licenses (e.g. Series 7, 63, 65) Experience within private wealth, client servicing or operations Experience with Fidelity or other custodial platforms Experience with eMoney or other financial planning software Experience with Black Diamond or other portfolio accounting software
CFP or CFA, highly desirable Powerpoint Salesforce

Key Direct Reports and Supervisory Responsibilities:
At present the Wealth Client Service and Operations Associate does not have any direct reports, but works closely with other senior members on the wealth team.
