The Director ETO Sourcing & Product Lifecycle Management Supply Chain is responsible for championing the cross-Rockwell supply management activities for several strategic categories and achieving year-on-year improvement in total cost of ownership, quality and service by working closely with business units, the Mechanical, Factored, and Electronics Strategic Sourcing Organization and suppliers. Additionally, this Director will drive alignment for the Materials Industrialization Planning and New Product Introduction (NPI) Sourcing organizations to create a Supply Chain function focused on Product Lifecycle Management. In this role the candidate will manage a global team and partner with key stakeholders to meet service and cost objectives.
Develop global sourcing strategies for assigned set of ETO and NPI commodities
Develop Annual Operating Plan for assigned commodities, with focus on financial performance and key operational metrics (total cost of ownership)
Create resource plan to facilitate execution of AOP and global sourcing strategies
Develop market / supply base / industry expertise in supply chain for ETO and NPI
Develop and facilitate global sourcing objectives for organization, ensuring alignment with Corporate and RA supply chain strategic vision
Oversee Induz Planning team responsible for successful materials management for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) projects required by business units.
Attract, develop and retain talent base in organization to support Supply Chain vision
Design long term strategy linking into operational and financial targets
Continuous focus on improvement of processes within allocated budgets
Experience collaborating with others across the organization and with leadership.
Demonstrated ability to manage in an ambiguous business environment.
Success in dealing in a global, matrixed organization structure will be necessary.
Must have demonstrated expertise leading a complex global supply chain/customer focused organization and ability to provide both technical and managerial leadership to his/her organization
