Supply Chain Planner (1900400) – Seneca, SC
Where the Chemistry Happens
We are seeking a professional like you to manage all aspects of planning and inventory management for imported or toll-manufactured products. You will ensure product availability at defined locations based on demand and local inventory targets, and be responsible for maintaining proper and cost-efficient inventory levels while utilizing defined supply chain processes (e.g., safety stock setting, stocking strategies). In addition, you will interact with Customer Care and affiliate partners to provide the status on orders and to complete settlement transactions in SAP accordingly.
Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Formula for Success
Leveraging your educational and professional background in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Operations, or a related field, you will manage inventory levels to support targets and achieve desired customer service levels.
Your familiarity with material planning processes, including Material Requirements Planning (MRP), will be a valued asset as you manage import and export activities and intra-company transfers.
Engaging across the business, you will interact with various business units to perform business-critical tasks including, but not limited to, inter-company and intra-company process orders and customer settlements.
Your solid problem-solving and analytical skills will be essential as you actively participate in weekly Finite Planning Meetings for the Seneca, SC manufacturing site.
