In Asia, Citi offers Trade solutions in 15 markets across the region, of which Singapore is one of the largest due to its position as a key trading hub and regional base for large number of global corporations. Role Overview
This individual is responsible for the end-to-end management of the Trade business in Singapore including oversight for the country product programs, risk and controls, P&L management, budgeting, people management and talent development.
Deliver the financial goals by driving a balanced P&L, growing the underlying business drivers (revenues, assets, deal wins and new clients) and optimizing returns.
Identify market needs and develop strategies to bring the right products and solutions to clients that are competitively differentiated. Initiate new and creative ways of enhancing existing and developing new products to address changing customer needs/trends.
Drive Trade origination efforts through active engagement with Banking and Sales partners, equiping them with value propositions for our clients, and providing solutioning in line with client's objectives.
Closely monitor competitors' activities and plan s & formulate strategy to preempt the competition
Partner with Operations & Technology to ensure product delivery within standards to ensure a consistently positive client experience.
Ensure a pristine control environment, including credit, documentation, and Product Approval Programs
Expand Citi's Trade market presence through customer events and thought leadership.
10+ years of Banking experience, with 7+ years of relevant Trade experience.
Proven track record of successful P&L management of a large end-to-end business
Seasoned and mature individual with ability to interface and engage internal and external constituents including clients, legal, risk and other relevant stakeholders.
Ability, passion and drive to motivate business and team performance.
Ability to lead strategic initiatives across the region and different stakeholders; ability to develop creative and innovative solutions; ability to build relationships and coordinate diverse groups to deliver for the client.
