The purpose of this position is to manage the development and implementation of a portfolio of parts enablement programs and purchasing platforms that provide competitive materials costs to our network of preferred service providers. This role will collaborate closely with trades category leads on opportunity identification and implementation of initiatives that create a more cost effective supply chain for facility services management.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborates with CBRE category managers on the strategy, design, and implementation of parts enablement programs
Implements and manages eCommerce, catalog, blockchain, or other like types of guided buying platforms to our supply base
Responsible for designing and implementing sourcing strategies and procurement plans to support supply chain objectives.
Drafts, reviews, negotiates, and maintains contracts and other business documents in support of the purchase of goods and services
Develops and manages relationships with national/regional/local parts providers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite. Working knowledge of database reporting and manipulation
Requires excellent knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts financial analysis.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
7+ years supply chain experience
Minimum of three years of sourcing experience with focus on MRO and supplies
Experience with catalogs or other guided buying vehicles with third parties
Knowledge of MRO, parts programs, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other facility services
