The scope of the position is responsible for managing the planning, facilitating, leading and completing of Lean and/or Six Sigma Continuous Improvement projects to support areas that include, but not exclusive to product cost reductions, delivery, quality, and new product introduction objectives of the company. This position is a key role in the company's efforts to improve Rockwell Automation's systemic improvement capabilities and driving a culture of continuous improvement. The primary focus will be to work directly with individuals and teams to lead and execute the Lean and/or Six Sigma improvement methodology on product cost reduction projects, processes to support our software business including subscription enablement, product development processes, customer experience, and supply chain processes supporting product delivery to our customers for both hardware and software.
Work with Product Management, Engineering, Project Management, and Software Operations Teams to lead projects to reduce costs and improve existing and/or design new processes Able to influence with or without authority and have a strong sense of urgency.
Support the implementation / leverage of best practices across the company to ensure process improvements are institutionalized throughout the business.
Cultivate the improvement of processes through the application of Lean and/or Six Sigma. Drive and challenge process owners in the use of process improvement tools; approaches and techniques to create process management and measurement systems and develop a Lean Six Sigma mindset at all levels.
Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Lead the change management activities to achieve and sustain results.
Exercises independent judgment in methods and techniques and evaluates criteria to obtain results.
