Where the Chemistry Happens
This is a technical position concentrating on the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of site measurement systems. The position will require you to assist field personnel in the installation and maintenance of mechanical and electronic measurement equipment, witness custody transfer meter calibrations, and provide guidance to the Field and Engineering staffing, the implementation of and conformance to BTP's Measurement Policies.
This is an excellent opportunity to share your extensive business knowledge of the groups to correctly implement the business plan and to modify feedstock inventories as required, utilize your ability to identify non-routine events and determine alternative solutions, and demonstrate your basic understanding of gas industry terminology.

Formula for Success
Your understanding of financial implications of material balance, yield and ownership matters with respect to margin and financial performance of JV business partners will be a valued asset as you p erform the proper inventory transactions, product database transactions, financial, accounting and controlling procedures, and any accounting related areas.
Demonstrating your solid computer skills (database, spreadsheets, Aspen Suite of products and SAP and understanding of data concepts), you will maintain spreadsheets on all feedstock for compliance with auditing and maintain a spreadsheet on offsite feedstock storage to monitor daily inventory levels.
Utilizing your strong mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills , you will investigate measurement variances and prepare solutions to prevent further occurrences.
Your working knowledge of applicable measurement standards (API, AGA, EUB, etc.) will serve you well as you c omplete and maintain measurement schematics and measurement reviews.
Leveraging your education in Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred) and your technical knowledge of the operations of the BTP, you will i nstall and maintain site measurement equipment to BTP standard in the designated area.
Managing multiple simultaneous deadlines under pressure in a fast-paced environment, you will evaluate new metering technologies for different applications.
Your keen attention to detail will be essential as you witness third-party calibrations on check measurement stations.
