The senior manager of procurement will have responsibility for all Naval Guns Programs. Responsibility for procurement efforts from the proposal to production stages.
Responsible for exercising business judgment to define a comprehensive purchasing strategy resulting in superior cost and availability performance. Further the development and implementation of commodity strategies, and will engage in a high degree of collaboration and communication with engineering, programs, finance, manufacturing, contracts, the end customer, and other Supply Chain areas.
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience.
Prefer the candidate to have Department of Defense industry experience and at minimum, manufacturing industry experience.
