The Project Coordinator will work directly with the Medical Director for Video Visits and eConsults and the Connected Health Lead to implement two key initiatives designed to propel UC Davis Health forward to meet the changing demands of the healthcare system and the expectations of consumers regarding access to care; Video Visits and eConsults.Required:-Demonstrated understanding and experience of eHealth related projects (EHR, HIE, telehealth, consumer eHealth, -Demonstrated project management and leadership skills necessary to design, implement and monitor a multiple projects.-Experience in developing strategic direction and also parcel objectives into short-term tasks.-Excellent written and oral communication skills required to prepare reports, project plans, and presentations. -Experience with word processing, presentation software, spreadsheets, databases, and internet. -Demonstrated understanding of health systems and community health delivery.-Analytical skills to effectively understand healthcare programs; to manage administrative and fiscal information; and to comprehend such information to make timely and correct decisions.Preferred:-Experience working with EPIC, such as EPIC certification in MyChart, Ambulatory Care, (other related areas).-Internal understanding of UC Davis Health System and/or a deep appreciation for matrix organizations.-Experience in a clinical setting.-Understanding of regulations and policies that relate to Video Visits and eHealth.SPECIAL REQUIREMENT-Must be able to work variable schedule, extra hours and nights/weekends.-Must be able to travel to community sites for on-site meetings and training sessions.-THIS POSITION MAY BE SUBJECT TO A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION, DRUG SCREEN, LIVE SCAN FINGERPRINTING, MEDICAL EVALUATION CLEARANCE, AND FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY ASSESSMENT
