The Business Development Manager is responsible for building new business relationships as well as managing existing client relationships. This role will be responsible for lead research and generation, presenting capabilities to prospective clients, management of client/prospect events, and email marketing. Some of the duties include but are not limited to the items listed below:
Roles & Responsibilities
This position has responsibility for:
Creating sponsorship packages
Developing business relationships
Administrative tasks (completing and turning in orders, expense reporting, maintaining digital files, tracking metrics. etc.)
Travel: up to 20% (Representation at industry events requires overnight travel across the US; up to 20% some months, and averaging 1-2 trips per month for 2-4 days each time. Travel schedules are usually known well in advance.

Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills)
8-10 years professional work experience REQUIRED
4-5 years relevant sales experience with a demonstrated track record of success
Experience with CRMs preferred
Experience with a membership-based company or sales of an intangible product/service
Ability to juggle multiple priorities
Excellent writing skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
