Education Pioneers is currently accepting applications for the EP Impact Fellowship from professionals who want to use their background in data and analysis and strategic project management to transform the education sector.
Education Pioneers recruits, develops, and connects talented professionals from diverse personal and professional backgrounds to work for K-12 school districts, charter schools, and other education organizations in non-instructional roles. Unique in scale and scope, EP is one of the only organizations to bring diverse talent into the education sector and prepare them to lead meaningful change as they advance in their own careers.
Impact Fellows serve a 10-month placement with a leading education organization using their existing skills to make the biggest impact. Fellows are managed by an invested supervisor and are directly embedded within a team and organization. Over 10 months Fellows also participate in leadership development programming alongside a cohort of diverse peers to become conversant and credible in K-12 education issues, learn about the education landscape, and build their professional network. Fellows develop and practice leadership competencies to increase their impact during their placement and beyond.
Since 2003, EP has partnered with over 750 organizations across the country and has an alumni network of over 4,000 and counting. EP leaders in education serve as senior managers at three times the rate as their private sector peers and 9 out of 10 Alumni believe that EP is an asset to their resume.
EP prioritizes placing Fellows in data & analysis and strategic project management roles. Previous Fellows have:
Built data tools and dashboards across multiple information systems to inform decision-making, provide insight into student and staff performance, and ensure smooth day-to-day school operations
Project managed the development of a data application system for partner organizations and built a data system in real time to identify best practices and strategies that are implemented
Analyzed business requirements from management and create meaningful data reports to support and drive business objectives; create insightful automated dashboards and data visualizations to track key business metrics
Worked across departments to provide financial modeling supports to clients and deliver strategic consulting to partner programs
Served as a high-leverage project manager for a Leadership Team, supporting operations in 5 schools
