As Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Informatics you will develop, maintain, and enhance data pipelines and analytics processes within the Supply Chain Informatics team. You will champion data-driven decision-making and lead efforts to standardize and automate business processes. This role allows you to identify new and exciting ways of meeting the needs of our patients and clinicians, specifically, their need for the right products in the right place at the right time for the right cost.
You will serve as a subject matter expert for Supply Chain data to colleagues and a stalwart of technological advancements in supply chain operations. The role defines, analyzes, and recommends solutions to complex enterprise-wide supply chain challenges. Continuous improvement is embedded in every aspect of the workload, seeking new and novel ways to improve operations through data processing, analysis, and new technology. A sense of urgency balanced with patience and respect will enable you to lead high-impact projects and initiatives.
Develop scalable data pipelines according to best practices in an AWS environment, primarily using Python and SQL code.
Maintain and enhance data ingestion capabilities to support and accelerate Supply Chain analytics and automation projects.
Manage key projects, identify and implement process improvements, and interface with a variety of partners from across Memorial Sloan Kettering.
Leverage strong analytics and problem-solving skills to drive day-to-day priorities.
Collaborate with various partners of all levels across MSK. You will be required to make astute observations and model behavior appropriately.
Patients come first. This role will not have direct interaction with Patients, but the output of this roles work will directly contribute to Patient care and clinical outcomes.
Experience writing maintainable, efficient SQL queries for reporting and ETL purposes.
Experience working on data warehouses and ETL processes.
Python programming experience but comfortable learning new languages.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS).
SQL mastery is required (e.g. SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
A desire for continuous learning and the ability to quickly learn business practices and processes, and actively apply new knowledge.
Ability to navigate uncertainty with confidence and make recommendations on courses of action.

Experience working with Amazon Redshift
Experience developing event-driven ETL data pipelines on AWS.
Experience creating Dockerfiles and working with Docker containers.
Bash, shell scripting, and general DevOps experience including installation of software from source code.
Web application development and web scraping experience.

Project Management Professional (PMP)
Certifications in AWS, Azure, & other Cloud platforms
Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) protocol and cXML
Business Process Analysis
Maintains high degree of understanding and robust documentation of departments business processes.
Independently facilitates design of business workflow in conjunction with the business units and provides guidance to application analysts in designing improved efficiencies, solving complex workflow issues and incorporating quality initiatives
Prepares workflow charts and diagrams to document business, systems, and data workflows for existing and new processes and applications.
Responsible for identifying solutions to resolve design issues and to effectively communicate these solutions to the project leader / manager.
Develops and maintains system documentation of changes implemented and store these on a centrally retrievable location, as defined by department policies.
Utilizes process modeling methodologies to identify the impact of workflow changes on existing processes and systems
Develop systems and/or processes that interface other applications/databases to meet complex business requirements.
Define test cases and prepare data / scripts for testing.
Execute and coordinate systems, integration, and enterprise-wide test plans for assigned projects.
Analysis & Reporting:
Ability to identify data requirements, obtain data from various sources and relate data to create reporting structure for end-user consumption
Maintains proprietary databases including data integrity, timeliness of data input and accuracy of data.
Troubleshoots problems and researches cause of variances in data pipelines and recommends appropriate course of action.
Collaborates with Supply Chain colleagues to design, build, and deploy reports for regular and ad-hoc consumption
