Supervise ergonomist(s) on site and remote, providing direction and support for the ergonomic assessments and recommendations and assist the Health Center Manager as needed. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Manages staff typically composed of Ergonomist Specialists and executes the following, but not limited to supervisory responsibilities: Direct supervision for 2-10 Ergonomist Specialists across 1-2 sites Responsible for following appropriate processes for staff management including staff development and performance management Responsible for interviewing, training and ensuring the successful orientation and onboarding of new colleagues Assist Premise team and Health Center Manager in implementation of strategic program and marketing plans Assist the Health Center Manager with monthly reporting statistics Partner with Premise Health Teams and related departments to provide optimal performance of the site to meet the needs and satisfaction of client Address customer issues and ensure effective and long-term problem resolution Execute the non-supervisory responsibilities of an Ergonomist Specialist, but not limited to the following: Identify and assess ergonomic hazards in the workplace Work in an embedded client environment Produce technical reports in a proficient and timely manner Complete data collection and detailed analysis Advise on the organization of production lines and workstations Assemble solution for both short and long-term risk reduction Manage multiple projects concurrently Professionally and effectively interact with diverse clientele Promote safe, healthy, and inspired workplace environments May require other duties as assigned. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Education: Degree in Health Sciences (Kinesiology, Human Kinetics, or Exercise Science) with an ergonomic focus or a Degree in Bio-Physical Engineering preferred. Experience: At least 2 years experience working with ergonomic application No supervisory experience required, but is preferred. 3-5 years experience working with ergonomic application preferred.
