We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Manager, Credit Controls, ASP CMB.
Active involvement in the ASP Regional CMB risk agenda in collaboration with Risk, FCTM and other stakeholders. This includes providing expert operational risk advice and control monitoring for CMB specifically on Controls related to Credit and Fraud.
The ability to translate relevant regulatory, economic and technology changes into business ready implementation programmes that deliver best control environment to complex operating environments in a timely and robustly manner.
Ability to review and identify emerging and latent credit risks from end to end processes, covering those owned by CMB as well as those owned and managed by outsourced partners for example FCTM, Risk
Work with CMB management including both regional and in country to lead the development of action programmes to address identified weaknesses in Credit and relevant Fraud controls.
Develop new and innovative ways of identify Credit and Fraud risk through collaboration with other teams, for example Analytics
Undertake all relevant reporting on identified issues for the region on Credit and Fraud for example Helios Management
Interact with second and third lines defense for discussions related to Credit issues
Ability to build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with senior managements teams across the entire ASP region including Home Market, Scale and Network markets.
Ability to use initiative to resolve issues, whilst dealing with a diverse range of stakeholders and team members
Ability to articulate complex issues in a succinct manner to senior management
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group.
Championing and embedding best practice management
Support the Head of Credit Controls on other ah hoc tasks as required
Previous experience in risk management within a global organisation, working across cultures, within a complex matrix structure and across a broad regulatory landscape.
Ability to present complex issues across a range of processes, controls and operating environments confidently and concisely to Executives using simple language to accommodate globally distributed stakeholders.
Ability to build enduring relationships with senior stakeholders across the region through effective communication, influence and negotiation.
Skilled decision maker, making considered and timely decisions particularly when under pressure to resolve issues holistically and comprehensively.
Operational Risk and control subject matter expert with a background in Credit and Fraud risk
Ability to distil complex and varied information into useful, insightful and concise recommendations and solutions.
Ability to identify, assess and communicate the need for risk mitigation across a complex group of stakeholders.
