The David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care, between 73rd and 74th Streets, in Manhattan, will provide a dynamic outpatient setting for leading-edge cancer treatments. The 23-story, 750,000-square-foot building is the latest example of MSKs creative approaches to redesigning the way cancer care is delivered.
Supervise all operations in assigned job groups including distribution, loading dock, mailroom, linen, procurement and associated outside vendors.
Assist Manager in identifying, developing and implementing processes to ensure efficiency within assigned job
Colloborate with site management teams to ensure needs are being met.
Ensure that assignments are designed to meet departmental standards.
Monitor and forecasts workloads; recommends changes to assignments and/or staffing levels to best achieve required outcomes.
Provide technical and non-technical guidance to staff to ensure that work assignments are being done efficiently and by following the best possible procedures.
Prepare schedules to ensure that routine and non-routine activities are correctly prioritized and fairly delegated to staff members.
Assist Manager in monitoring all activities to ensure compliance with departmental and Center policies as well as outside regulatory agencies. Makes certain that all required documentation is maintained.
Supervise and guides the functions and activities of assigned job groups.
Evaluate performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions of assigned job groups.
Supervise the hiring, orientation and training of assigned job groups.
Monitor daily activities of staff, ensuring job duties are being completed accurately, thoroughly and within specified time frames.
Provide ongoing individual feedback to staff on performance strengths and areas in need of improvement; recognizes accomplishments, improvements in performance and innovative ideas.
