The InvestmentOperations Analyst provides general administrative support for the Investment Office including operations, analytical, and managerial support for the Investment Office. S/he interacts with board members, investment managers, and service providers, as well as numerous University units - President's Office, Office of Financial Affairs, and Advancement. Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer, the Investment Operations Analyst has additional responsibilities that include but are not limited to:
Supports the CIO and Investment Office staff for all administrative needs, including scheduling meetings, updating investment office contacts and files database, ordering office supplies, reconciling procurement credit cards, and assisting with travel reservations.
Assists the Director of Investment Operations in preparing regular and ad-hoc investment portfolio monitoring reports for Georgetown University's pooled endowment and retirement plan.
Administers the Investment Office's financial affairs and budgeting process, in conjunction with the CIO.
Manages the Investment Office's student internship program, currently numbering 18 interns, screening, hiring, assigning projects, and conducting evaluations.
Assists with the preparation of internal and external investment reports.
Leads coordinate for the Committee on Investments and Social Responsibility (CISR).
At least 1 years of experience in a high-paced professional setting
Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Extremely detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and be self-sufficient
Superb organizational skills with the ability to work independently
Previous experience with investments and data analysis strongly preferred
