This position is also responsible for training new staff and quality control of staff work. In addition to working with the internal SS&C team, there will also be regular client interaction.
Part of a team of accountants who act as daily points of contact for a London based client
Providing client service on a multitude of matters including: posting general ledger journals, reconciling cash and positions, recording and analyzing transactions, and preparation of work paper packages
Assisting with external audits, Form PF filings and Management Company reporting requirements
Working with internal groups such as Compliance, Settlements and various technology and support teams to ensure a one stop shop for high end Middle Office and Front office client base.
Interacting with clients at various levels and help maintain client relationship
Interacting with internal departments at various levels across multiple locations and geographies
Responding to client inquiries and requests
Providing input to client service plans, calendars and timelines
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a similar capacity to assist with immediate client onboarding.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
Strong General ledger knowledge
Experience of fund administration or loan administration/middle office
Familiarity with loan and overall credit investments (CLO or CDO)
Good client relationship management skills
Expert in MS Excel
Ability to work under pressure and manage tight internal and client deadlines
Strong communication skills, including written, listening and presentation abilities
