What is the Network Automation group responsible for?
Network Services team ensure all communication lines are established and secure across our 60 offices. The team is spread across the globe and while the position is located in Poznań the focus is providing project and operational support of the telecommunications infrastructure for the businesses and employees located at office locations throughout Franklin's global enterprise.
The Sr. Analyst will be part of the Network Automation team driving to replace manual tasks being responsible for gathering business and technical requirements, document and communicate internal policies and procedures, coordinate and track routine engineering tasks ensuring compliance with build standards.
The Sr. Analyst will perform data analysis, identify gaps, develop tools to automate operational processes, create process diagrams, and develop and produce data reporting visualizations. This position will also assist in the daily support of network technology to support transforming Franklin Templeton Network Services in adopting a new culture of agile and machine learning.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of Sr. Automation Analyst?
Proactively work to identify gaps, automate operational processes and mature existing automation methods.
Design, develop, and support interactive data visualizations of operational KPIs within Tableau
Responsible for creating requirements document
Prepare test cases, test scenarios, and expected test results
Responsible for creating process documentation and service delivery performance reports for internal customers and executive level personnel
Expected to produce accurate analysis and reporting, often under significant time and workload pressure and with a moderate level of guidance and direction
What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Engineering, Business and/or 5+ year of work experience in the field.
Experience with Object Oriented/Scripting languages
Experience creating automation programs from the ground up for network functions
Experience with data science and machine learning
Experience with DevOps
Experience working in an Agile environment
Working knowledge of Windows/Linux systems, applications, process automation software and/or techniques, and databases
Understanding of relational databases and experience developing queries
Understanding of SSL certificates
Analytical & problem-solving skills
Planning and organizational skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Accurate and precise attention to detail
Ability to interact with all levels of management
Possess expert knowledge of analytic tools such as data gathering and analysis, spreadsheets, flow-charting and process diagramming
Possess excellent writing skills to produce reports, documentation and presentations
Self-starter with proven ability to develop creative solutions that enable network management improvements that translate directly to a better customer experience and an increased ease of operation
Be available to work hours that overlap with the California business day by 4 hours (7:00am - 11:00am Pacific).
Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as necessary
