The Role Responsibilities & Our Ideal Candidate
Purpose of the role is to manage the UAT test phases for the Oracle, Mantas Detection Engine in support of each country implemenation and ensure the unified test methodology (UTM) and all testing controls are complied with.
The role will liaise country stakeholders to build confident and knowledge related to the Mantas and ECM UAT to ensure that all test plans have been completed and ensure the UAT exit report is completed, meeting the very highest standards associated with a transaction monitoring implementation.
Project SAIL is a strategic multi-year programme to implement an Oracle automated AML monitoring system (FCCM). Oracle FCCM is an industry standard, proven, configurable and scalable system that will ensure that the bank can implement the automated transaction and customer monitoring required to meet the AML policy and increasing regulatory expectations. The project will cover all customers, geographies, transactions and products within SCB.
Deliver the Project SAIL vision, strategy and leadership, consistent with the vision and strategy for FCC, in support of the Group's strategic direction and growth aspirations.
Deliver the project in line with the Bank's SDF 2.0 framework aligned to the Inception, Elaboration, Construction and Transition Phases
Ensure all project deliverables and approvals are stored in a structured discoverable format for future audit
Propose control improvements, enhancements and simplifications where appropriate
Deliver all allocated activities to the highest quality standard and call out when this is not the case
Project Specialism Testing:
In-depth understanding of the transaction monitoring production architecture and the various application components that comprise the solution, including ODI, Mantas and ECM.
Experience of test planning, executing and management of large complex transaction monitoring testing within a financial institution
Conduct UAT testing in line with SAIL test strategy
Ensure all UAT test entry criteria are met prior to the commencement of testing, as defined in the SAIL testing strategy including the relevant test controls and documentation
Ensure handover of the UAT testing environments from the Infrastrucutre and Environments team fully meets testing requirements, including loading of all relevent data, configuration items and shake down testing is complete
Review UAT test cases and confirm that data displayed in ECM is sufficient for analysts to be able to investigate cases effectively
Drive the timely delivery of code fixes required as a result of defects found during testing, including unit testing prior to delivery to testing environments
Define country-specific testing requirements, where applicable
Report all testing defects in JIRA and drive their resolution in concert with the appropriate development teams
Continuously report defects found during testing and their status to the appropriate SAIL governance forums
Complete UAT exit report, ensuring that no severity 1 / 2 defects are outstanding at the end of UAT and all other open defects are risk accepted by the appropriate risk owner
Ensure that all open defects at the end of the test phase have been risk accepted by the appropriate risk owner and reported to the appropriate governance forum
Ensure complete regression testing of all code fixes deployed during the test phase
Ensure that fixes for defects found during testing phases undergo data assessment, where required
Ensure that a plan is in place to resolve all defects that remain open at the end of the testing cycle
Build confidence in the stakeholder group through clear, confident and articulate communication prior to UAT, during the test phase and when managing the UAT sign off activity with senior stakeholders
Demonstrate ECM and Mantas knowledge and skills to deliver system overviews to stakeholders who will support UAT testing
Have experience of engaging with audit, demonstrating understanding of the testing controls and evidence required to effectively support a transaction monitoring audit
Stimulate an environment where forward planning, prioritisation, deadline management and collaborative, inclusive yet effective and efficient work practices are the norm.
Ensure UAT is adequately resourced and staffed by an appropriate number of competent people, to support the successful delivery of Project SAIL
