The University of Michigan Department of Dance seeks an experienced, professional studio teacher in the area of Hip-Hop and other Urban Dance styles. The candidate should have a B.F.A. or M.F.A. in Dance, a minimum of ten years of experience in teaching Hip-Hop and other Urban dance forms at the post-secondary level. The candidate should have over ten years of experience in teaching Hip-Hop and other Urban dance forms. The candidate’s profile should demonstrate extensive experience as a guest teacher with recognized organizations in the field and knowledge of current literature on the subject. Experience with interdisciplinary media is preferred.
This position will teach Fall, 2019 term only.
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
