Position Summary The IT applications development and system administrators will primarily support for the Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) and secondarily support other academic departments within the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS). The incumbent reports to the BME Director of Finance and Administration for BME projects and systems. Projects for other departments will be directed by the school's Chief Information Officer (CIO).The incumbent will implement and support hardware/software solutions for the departmental needs in educational, research and business. Proactively assesses the IT hardware and software for improved efficiency/performance and/or upgrades in order to support departmental goals, activities and business processes; develops and updates standard operating procedures and business workflow in the assigned area of responsibility. As part of the engineering school's IT team - adhere to university policies, technical standards and best practices for operational excellence. Responsibilities
