From the Apollo missions to exploring Pluto, we have a long history of accomplishments. We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Business Analyst to join our team in Canoga Park, CA.
In this role, you will provide Earned Value Management support for pre-established budget baselines assigned to Supply Chain Material Program Management (MPM).
Assist in the preparation of program level Estimates at Completion (EAC), Estimates to Complete (ETC) and Variance Analysis Reports (VAR) by providing and analyzing material and labor actuals, estimated actuals, open commitments and other metrics to the assigned Control Account Manager (CAM).
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly reports reflecting labor analysis, material actuals, estimated actuals, open commitments, etc. Support program reviews and EAC reviews. This includes the ability to provide a cursory review/analysis to ensure data communicated is timely, accurate, traceable to budgets and in a format conducive for deep dive analysis. Requires interface with other Supply Chain and Financial disciplines such as Scheduling, Business Management and Program Office.
Maintain document integrity and traceability by establishing and maintaining well-organized electronic filing systems and documentation.
Supporting special projects related to continuous improvement within the Supply Chain organization through data collection and analysis.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics or related field and at least six (6) years of applicable experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
US Citizenship required. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
Good analytical skills and be highly comfortable using Microsoft Excel for developing analysis tools, tabulating and charting data with complex data sets.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Capable of working in a team environment.
Self-motivated individual with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Must be able to see beyond the spreadsheet. Understand the customer needs and why, recommend or present solutions as required.
The ideal candidate would have one or more additional proficiencies in:
Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE);
ERP Systems & Manufacturing Environments;
