The Role Responsibilities
Responsible for coordinating and documenting the Data and Analytics strategy for the Property function
Informed on the wider Property strategy (primarily around efficiency, experience, and financial) and Property scorecard objectives to ensure alignment
Informed on relevant business objectives of our key Property customers (eg. Retail Banking) as they pertain to development of Property Management Information and analytics products (tableau or otherwise)
Responsible for minor engagements with business stakeholders around data products, feedback management, articulating new developments, informing on insights, etc
Documenting existing processes pertaining to data products
Responsible for engaging with Property system and process owners (and 'on-the-ground' users) to facilitate automation and process improvement where identified through data activities
People and Talent
Responsible for leading the Property Data and Analytics team within GBS for the technical developments and enhancements of the Property data ecosystem
Responsible for understanding performance gaps and training requirements, and articulating team and people recommendations to the Property Data Strategist.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with all necessary Bank standards including GIS, BIA, Data Privacy, etc
Responsible for documenting governance models around process and data quality
Responsible for development of data products to facilitate and automate governance activities
Regulatory & Business Conduct

Lead the Property Data and Analytics team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principles : [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.] *
Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Property Management, Business stakeholders (Retail, CCIB, etc)
Development of new data products (via Tableau) along with updates and enhancements
Request management activity: provision of data reports to Property and Business stakeholder as required
Tracking and capturing ecosystem and data product related activities to ensure delivery and prioritization
Responsible for identification of new tools and technologies that would support data products
Identify data quality issues and facilitate remediation between Property teams and HR / Finance / others
Responsible for performing manual data activities as required and facilitating their automation
Responsible for communications with the Property Data Marketplace ecosystem around regular data updates, product enhancements, and new product developments
Our Ideal Candidate
Demonstrated proficiency of Bank specific data technologies including: Hadoop / HaaS (EDM), Tableau, Dremio, Paxata, Alteryx, Data Robot and others, and ability to articulate potential value and shortcomings
Understanding of Bank processes and teams, ability to navigate technical teams to facilitate activity
Data science and programming skills preferred (R, python, etc)
Relevant professional qualifications for Agile development, Tableau certifications, and project management preferred (PMP)
Technical mindset and demonstrated ability to creatively solve business problems through data solutions
