The PeopleSoft Developer - FSCM - provides technical and consulting support for PeopleSoft applications within the Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) system for the current release installed at MHS. The developer is responsible for full system life cycle support of PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain including system design, analysis, planning, programming, development, testing, debugging and production support of the PeopleSoft FSCM applications.
Core Duties Include:
Support the current release of Peoplesoft FSCM including the following modules installed at MHS: General Ledger, Asset Management, Payables, Receivables, Billing, Cash Management, Purchasing, Inventory and ePro.
Work with the Finance and Operations teams to understand business requirements and translate into PeopleSoft functional and technical specifications.
Work with IS team to troubleshoot, resolve issues and recommend strategic solutions.
Liaise with vendors, banks, and other IT groups on various implementation activities and integration projects.
Participate in various project initiatives including General Ledger integration with HCM.
Responsible for the design, development and delivery of various PeopleSoft application development components, including reports, interfaces, conversions, and implementation of custom solutions.
Conducts Unit testing and resolve issues found in testing.
At least 5 years’ experience with Peoplesoft Financials 9.2.
Expertise in the following modules: GL, AM, PO, AP, Billing, Purchasing, Inventory and ePro.
Extensive experience with PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Packages, Integration Broker, App Designer, SQR, PS Query, Component Interfaces, BI Publisher, and AWE.
Demonstrated understanding of GHX technology preferred
Proven analytical problem solving and research abilities.
Demonstrates understanding of finance and accounting principles. Ability to interact with business and finance associates as a team player to complete numerous ad-hoc special projects.
Experience in triaging, gathering substantial amounts of data, conducting analysis, independently running through a series of potential solutions, and presenting findings.
Demonstrates strong and effective oral and written communications for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Must be extremely organized with attention to detail and be able to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
