Idaho Power is looking for a Resource Coordinator II to join our Hells Canyon Parks team. We’re looking for someone who loves working outside, is adaptable to a variety of demands, and is invested in providing a positive customer experience for visitors to Idaho Power’s parks and campgrounds.
So what does a Resource Coordinator II do for us? They are responsible for the appearance and maintenance of our parks and campgrounds. They understand the principles of natural resources and have experience with facility repair and agricultural practices. Working with minimal supervision, a Resource Coordinator takes initiative to coordinate work tasks and resources to support our parks management plans and interfaces with employees, contractors, agency staff and parks visitors.
For this role, the ideal candidate will have experience in construction management, agricultural systems, soil science or horticulture with strong interpersonal and communication skills. They will be proficient with GPS systems, hand tools, off-road vehicles, boats and/or towing trailers, with a preference for candidates who understand the principles of civil processes, such as grading or surveying.
This temporary position will be located in beautiful and rugged Hells Canyon and is scheduled to last until approximately 8/27/2021.
Pay for this non-exempt position ranges from $22.99 to $27.69 per hour.

Licenses & Certifications:
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record based on driving requirements for the position for all roles. DOT Medical card may be required depending on specific job position. Valid State of Idaho Wastewater Treatment Operator in Training License within nine months of hire AND valid State of Idaho Level I Wastewater Collection License, Level I Wastewater Treatment License, and a Land Application License within two years of hire.
Pesticide Applicator’s license
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Job is performed primarily outdoors. Requires occasional lifting shoulder height and above up to 20 lbs (rarely 35 lbs). Frequently lift waist-high and knee-high items weighing 20 lbs, and 50 lbs on a rare basis. Occasionally use exertional force of 50 lbs. Frequently use one or two hands to carry up to 20 lbs, (rarely up to 50 lbs with both hands). Job requires the ability to bend, stoop, squat, crouch, twist, crawl, reach, kneel, balance, and climb. Job requires frequent grasping of tools, etc.; operating vehicle foot controls; using fine hand manipulation with small tools and computer keyboard. Applicant must be able to perform the essential functions of the job without posing a direct threat of harm to self, others, or property.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Travel with out-of-town stays may be required.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This Coordinator level exists in the WMAs and Hells Canyon.
