We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Head of Information Technology Risk and Control .
Drive Senior Management awareness, engagement and accountability
Provide expertise on regulatory requirements
Drive business awareness of appropriate IT policies and controls and required compliance
Manage relationship with CIOs and COOs.
Function as Risk Point of Contact for CIO , COO, Internal and External Auditors
Drive Audit and regulatory planning and execution
Liaison with second and third line of defense including IT Security, Operational Risk, Regulatory and Compliance, Technology Risk, Internal Audit.
Drive standardization of collaboration model among IT and Chief Control Office
Drive governance and reporting standards
Drive resolution through collaboration with IT teams
Manage thematic reviews, investigations and compliance reviews in response to internal or external events
Engage with the business to identify, measure, mitigate, monitor, and report risk
Drive issues and actions management along with remediation activities
Improve existing audit and regulatory planning and execution processes and reporting
Possess solid IT auditor experience, or IT auditee experience as management level within banks.
Proven risk and control experience within technology domains. Preference will be given to whom also possess experience to deal with regulators in Asia Pacific.
Familiar with HSBC APAC organization structure and people at different levels of seniority.
Excellent ability to influence without direct management authority to drive deliverables.
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to a wide range of individuals and groups and at different levels of seniority.
Innovative and able to assess needs and propose solutions
Strong communication in written and speaking English
Strong time management skills
Self starter who has experience in dealing with varieties of cultures.
